Hi – well I am still walking but skipped a day. Took Sandy for her walk, no she took me for her walk.
anyways, went my usual walk throught the path and did a bit of training for Sandy. She has put on weight and the doctor told us she should lose weight – duh – we all love our food. What I need to do is do more vigourous walking, hills, one or two and come back. 45 minutes doesn’t seem to be long enough. Next week I am in Vancouver, so no blogga for me. I’m not bringing the lap top – scared to lose it and it’s extra weight to lug around. I know I won’t be eating very much, so that will help. Who know, maybe go for a walk in the evening. I will bring my running shoes. Today is a (4) wedding day. By the way Michelle, remember Tammy who came to your wedding, well I am marrying her at the end of the month. Friday, September 1st, 2006Well it’s been a couple weeks now and I’m finally starting to feel the changes, that means the toughest phase of getting active again is over, phew. The muscles in my legs are noticeable again, the stomach area is feeling a little different, possible smaller and I’m able to go just that little bit further. The last couple of days I’ve noticed while walking that there’s more of a fluidity to my walking it’s not as much of a struggle as it was before. I’m happy about this but angry with myself for having to go through this again, I need to really work on a way to keep this up when I’m not working.
