Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog’s face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him for a car ride; he sticks his head out the window?

This kid had his dog entered in a local dog show and he was wishing her luck ;-)

If you’ve been waiting for that day to do something big but you weren’t quite sure, you can’t go wrong today with the 777 luckiness factor.  I haven’t thought of anything myself yet but if I do, I’ll update.

I just finished reading The Innocent Man by John Grisham, a well written piece of non-fiction that explores the life of Ron Williamson.  It was a great read while also a very chilling look into the ineptitude of the American legal system.  It’s well written, definitely up the Grisham standards and worth picking up if you’re looking for something to read.

As for what I’m now reading, I’ve just started The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and although it’s a bit of a departure from I usually read, I’m enjoying it quite a bit.  It reminds me of The Cell by Stephen King, but you don’t have the background as to why these two are in the situation they’re in and it’s based several years after the disaster has hit instead of just as it’s happening.   Good book so far.

That’s about it, it’s hot, but it’s sure nice to see summer finally take hold.

PS. do the neighbors really need to listen to their music loud enough to the point where I can hear it clearly inside our apartment?  Ok Breathe, phew.
