I got a little teary when I read this email from Mom, had to share:

He had just saved her from a house fire, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house and into her front yard. He made sure she was all right, then left her there and returned to fighting the fire.

She is pregnant.

When the fire was finally out, the fireman sat down to catch his breath and rest.

A photographer from the Charlotte, North Carolina, newspaper, “The Observer,” noticed ‘her’ watching the fireman. He saw her walk straight toward the fireman and wondered what she was going to do.

As he raised his camera, she came up to the tired fireman who had saved her life and the lives of her babies, and kissed him, just as the photographer snapped this photograph.

Here’s a couple of good jokes I got in my email recently.

It doesn’t hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time, and this should help get you started. During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized. “Well,” said the Director, “we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub.” “Oh, I understand,” said the visitor. “A normal person would use the bucket because it’s bigger than the spoon or the teacup. “No.” said the Director, “A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a room with or without a view?”

A study conducted by UCLA’s Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of male face a woman finds attractive can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle. For instance, if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. However, if she is menstruating, or menopausal, she is more prone to be attracted to a man with scissors lodged in his temple and a bat jammed up his ass while he is on fire.

Ya know if your gonna have a frickin’ party try holding it somewhere that isn’t in an apartment. So to the Asshats in 202, go away I need to work tomorrow and need some sleep.

They’re definitely getting louder up there, more thumping and louder music. Why the heck isn’t our new resident manager doing anything about it.

And if they don’t intend on ending the party anytime soon, then they could have at least invited us, gosh!!!

I just downloaded a neat new plugin for WordPress, it allows you to set up a bunch of keywords and when you type them into a post it autolinks them for you. Totally Cool. Here’s my first few Auto Links, WordPress, Sweeby, Linz.

In case your wondering why it didn’t create the link the second time I typed in WordPress, it only applies the link to the first time it sees the word in a post.
